CassavaCrisp™ Cassava Cat Litter — natural white granules with scoop showing excellent clumping performance

Cassava Cat Litter CassavaCrisp™

2 Grades · Extra-Strong Clumping · Flushable · Ultra-Low Dust

Ultra-Low Dust ≤0.5% Flushable Extra-Strong Clump Plant-Based Biodegradable MOQ 10 tons

CassavaCrisp™ is our plant-based cat litter made from food-grade cassava starch sourced from Thailand/Vietnam growing regions. Unlike tofu cat litter which is extruded into uniform pellets, cassava litter has a naturally irregular particle shape that delivers exceptional clumping strength. Available in two grades to match different buyer profiles — both pass our 5-stage dedusting system for ultra-clean performance.

No Diameter Options — Unlike Tofu Cat Litter

Cassava cat litter is not extruded through molds like tofu litter. The manufacturing process produces naturally irregular particles based on the cassava starch formulation. Grade selection is determined by specific gravity and material quality, not particle diameter. If your market requires precise particle size control (e.g., Korea/Japan prefer fine 1.5mm), consider our NaturePure™ Tofu Cat Litter instead.

Both grades support full customization on scent, packaging, and branding. Contact us for detailed test reports per grade.

ORDER CONTROL

Order Quality Control & Batch Consistency

Consistent quality across every shipment is what separates a reliable supplier from a risky one. Every Gormeet order is governed by a 6-point batch control system — from raw material intake to container loading.

Batch Tracking System
Every production lot receives a unique batch ID linked to raw material source, production line, date, and operator — full forward and backward traceability.
QC at Every Stage
Quality checkpoints at raw material intake, in-process production, finished goods, and pre-shipment — no stage skips, no exceptions.
Hold & Release
Finished goods are quarantined in a hold zone until lab tests pass. Only the QC manager can authorize release — failed batches never ship.
COA with Every Shipment
Each container includes a Certificate of Analysis with actual test values for all 7 dimensions — not just a pass/fail, but real data you can verify.
Tolerance Standard
Pre-defined tolerance ranges for every metric. If any value falls outside spec, the batch is held — no negotiated exceptions, no "close enough" shipments.
Customer Sample Retention
Retained samples from every batch kept for 12 months. If a customer reports a quality issue, we test the retained sample against the complaint — accountability built in.
FAQ

Common Questions From Buyers

If your question isn't here, ask us directly — we reply within 4 hours on business days.

Q: What's the difference between cassava and tofu cat litter?
Both are plant-based and flushable. Tofu is made from pea/soy fiber, extruded into uniform pellets with selectable diameters (1.5/2.0/3.0mm). Cassava is made from cassava starch, produces naturally irregular particles with stronger clumping but no diameter options. Choose tofu if you need precise pellet size; choose cassava if you want maximum clumping strength at a competitive price point.
Q: Why does cassava litter NOT have diameter options?
Cassava litter is manufactured through a wet granulation process, not an extrusion mold. The particles form naturally from the cassava-starch slurry, resulting in irregular shapes. This actually gives it better interlocking clumping than uniform pellets. If your market demands fine particles (like Japan/Korea), go with our Tofu Cat Litter instead.
Q: Is cassava cat litter safe to flush?
Yes — fully plant-based and water-soluble. Flush 1–2 clumps at a time. The cassava starch disperses quickly in water. Avoid dumping large volumes at once in older septic systems. It's one of the most sewer-friendly litters available.
Q: Which markets suit cassava cat litter best?
Best fits:
Southeast Asia (Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia — local cassava source reduces logistics cost)
North America/EU as a premium plant-based alternative to tofu (stronger clumping, better value)
Middle East & emerging markets where buyers want plant-based quality at accessible cost
Not ideal for Japan/Korea where consumers demand fine 1.5mm pellets.
Q: Can I get a free sample before ordering?
First 2 sample requests are free up to 5kg each. You pay only freight. We recommend requesting both Grade A and Grade B so you can compare clumping feel and dust levels side-by-side. Send your courier account or we ship collect.
Q: What certifications apply to cassava cat litter exports?
ISO 9001:2015, SGS annual test reports, MSDS (per shipment), Phytosanitary Certificate (required for plant-based export), Certificate of Origin. Our facilities are FDA-compliant for US-bound shipments and REACH-ready for EU destinations.
